I visited Grand Canyon National Park in early December. I wanted to take pictures of the canyon in the light of sunset and so we found ourselves doing just that on that chilly evening. As the sun began to set, I saw how it illuminated the walls of the canyon. As I focused on the view, I fortunately saw some people on a ridge who worked somewhat as a scale. Overall, the photograph came together very well.
