No other punk rock band has attracted such a following as Turbonegro. Their fans call themselves “Turbojugend” and they have a huge network, with more than 2000 chapters worldwide. The members just need denim, a few beers and Turbonegro music to be happy.
For 10 years now, they have celebrated the annual “Weltturbojugendtage” in Hamburg. I joined them for a weekend to photograph the “Denim Demons”.
