Jeremy Thies lives in the scenic state of Wyoming. “I’ve lived in Wyoming for the majority of my life, but have spent several years in Oregon and regularly travel to Arizona. I’m a 100% self taught photographer specializing in landscape photography. As much as I would love to travel the world taking pictures, that’s just not an option at this point. I have a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and spend the majority of my time working at a law firm. Every free chance I get, you can find me out photographing some landscape, storm, or sunset (early mornings aren’t my thing).” Jeremy tells Shut Your Aperture. midpoint1Save firstlightyellowstoneprintSave bwfallsprintSave glaciallake2Save www.jeremythies.comSave forestpath2Save pismopierSave You can see more of his work at www.jeremythies.com

Keep your own landscape-study archive

For a landscape-photo study of your own, keep original files beside your notes and finished edits. A black Samsung T7 Shield portable SSD, 1TB model MU-PE1T0S/AM, is one storage option to compare. Check capacity and your computer connection before buying. Open the copied files and maintain another checked copy separately. A drive does not replace a complete backup plan. Compare the current retailer specifications; no hands-on test, price or stock promise is being made here.
