Photographic reality and surrealism by Sander Erdmann
For years I have been passionate about exploring different fields of the visual arts. The contrast between photographic reality and surrealism is what I aim to combine. By controlling every detail, the photograph can be constructed similar to a layered painting. Each photograph can be interpreted as a puzzle, which reveals different stories at each level. Although perfection is a keyword in describing my work method, capturing the beauty of imperfection in humans is what interests me.
