And I am not the only one who is intrigued by these extraordinary animals. Their majestic charisma and personality has been well portrayed anywhere from movies to books as well as being symbolized in logos. Lions are true icons of royalty and power. With my project “Portraits from a kingdom”, I am aiming to go beyond traditional documentary photography to convey those magical qualities that intrigues me the most. The project is exclusively shot in Masai Mara, Kenya, The kingdom of lions.
