In a country like Bangladesh, where the country is densely populated, railways prove to be a popular form of transport, but the number of seats available don’t do justice to the number of prospective passengers who travel to their hometown atleast two times annually to celebrate festivals.

Round the year, the station also sees a fair share of passengers, and a whole circle of people lead their live around the area- to some the platform serves as shelter, to some it serves as a source of living.
