Heart of Africa is Michael Sugrue’s visual diary drawn from a trip to Rwanda and Uganda. The Vimeo film currently identifies the uploader as Mayrose Future, while the original post credited Sugrue; that mismatch needs provenance review before an index flip. This is the filmmaker’s personal account of a trip, not a general portrait of two countries.
The original description credits camera assistant Ivan Agerton, editorial input by Emily Miller, and a score section by Jongnic Bontemps. It also credits Mobygratis and “The Day (Gesaffelstein Remix)” for music. The unrelated 2026 ocean-cliff stock image has been removed.
