Vietnam by Mathieu Coquerelle Vietnam has been harshly struck through history and is today in a transition phase. We perceive it as searching for balance between modernity, tourists oriented economy and the self-affirmation of it cultural identity which has been dimmed by numerous battles. We certainly discover the country through a biased point of view, sometimes reeked of guilt, drawn in the flow of tourists immersed in the everyday life of its people. And in the common places sporadically arise pictures and frames, luxurious and incongruous. They are evidence of our “a priori”, facing a strength of reconstruction, reappropriation ; each scene observed as an installation. —————– 14160903180_8981e61123_bSave 15260699258_77ef6ce3ab_bSave 14525724802_1ebb01ea33_bSave 14347307875_07f3a0e04c_bSave 15260518378_d3249f50e3_bSave 14240418867_df0092c970_bSave 15157694159_e897ce0ed4_bSave vietnam_3-14Save Fresh frameSave vietnam_3-21Save 14534661925_1479296b3e_bSave 14525778232_1edd6118f6_bSave 15157805460_13843a03ca_bSave 15249308187_cc580d6b18_bSave 15439515655_ea396bd9fb_bSave 14554737543_eaa6854dfa_bSave 14749119336_a5a6781a0e_bSave vietnam_3-1Save 14531390434_9a020a9083_bSave 15260421907_22d0bfe029_bSave 15923295768_d42756519d_bSave Piece of solitudeSave vietnam_3-24Save You can see more here.
