New York City By Michael Tischler

Creating large, exciting photographs is a true passion for me. When I look at one of my images being displayed, I reflect on the many facets required to make my vision for each image become a reality. It is awe-inspiring to consider all that must come together to make the final print to come to life.”

Michael Tischler’s images have been featured in magazines such as Popular Photography, and Outdoor Photography over the years. He has lectured at B&H in NYC, and many photography groups. Living in the Hudson Valley of New York State, close to NYC allows Michael to focus on this region on a daily basis through all seasons.

Michael has a sharp and unique style in composition and final image rendering. You are seeing 40 years of experience. Michael now uses the Pentax 51MP 645Z medium format camera, so that the highest resolution is used for his large images. Pentax’s latest 645 format Digital D28-48 f4.5, D90 22.8 Macro, and FA 80-160 4.5 lenses are used. Michael’s images are all processed using Exposure Fusion, Photomatix, and Photoshop. Michael’s compositions are based on available light. Each image is bold, authentic, and exciting. In 2015 there will be a multi gallery commitment to 5 US cities, starting in NY in September at the Broome Street Gallery in SOHO.
