Earth is Michael König’s time-lapse assembled from photographs made by astronauts aboard the International Space Station during Expeditions 28 and 29 in 2011. The original Vimeo page and player load. NASA Johnson Space Center’s astronaut Earth imagery is credited in the source description; König handled the edit. Music: Jan Jelinek, Do Dekor. The original production description is preserved below as an archive quote; the unrelated stock waterfall photo was removed from the proposed body.

HD, refurbished, smoothed, retimed, denoised, deflickered, cut, etc.
All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible,
avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original
footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature.
