I wanted to give a feeling of suspense as well and show a story where the girl wants to break free from the purgatory that she is currently trapped in that is why there is a photo of her underwater then it will go into another photo that shows her just floating around.
This is how I imagine a sad soul would be in purgatory, trapped in still waters with freedom to move anywhere but there is nothing. just the stillness of the water no matter how far she swims she is trapped.
