From the site’s photographer archive: Raoul Pérez’s gallery explores the shapes formed when drops collide, using color, reflections and carefully timed exposures. The original first-person introduction below describes his experiments with water-drop equipment at the time; it is not current gear advice or a product endorsement.

Hi, my name is Raoul Pérez, I’m a 24 years old, swiss graphic designer. I started photography four years ago. I love stage photography or landscape art, but most of all, I love to work with the exposure parameters, doing high speed photographies or long exposure to see what eyes can’t. I discovered the Liquid Art last year and it was something so beautiful that I felt compelled to try on my own. The first time it wasn’t so great. It’s hard to do it without the right materials. Now I’m using the Cognisys StopShot Water Drop Photography Kit to find the perfect timing for the drops to collide at the right time and the right height. I’m still trying to improve my technic but I hope you’ll enjoy what I’ve done so far.
