From the Shut Your Aperture archive (2014): the age, career details and tour references in the original profile were time-bound. This version focuses on the published photographs rather than presenting those details as current.

Arctic landscapes and the aurora

Stian Klo’s gallery brings together Nordic coasts, rivers, mountain scenery and northern lights. The photographs speak to his interest in landscape and night photography without claiming a current tour schedule.

The original 2014 profile connected Klo’s work to his childhood in Vesterålen and to photography in Arctic Norway and Iceland. Here the emphasis is on the gallery, not his age, present home, publication record or availability of tours.
