I am sad and embarrassed to share these photographs and videos…
I went showed up to the beach in the morning to shoot the sunrise and I could not believe my eyes. I immediately felt like I had to do something and was compelled to make this videos and try to create some awareness.
There are lots of events that go on here in Miami Beach, that’s what makes this place so awesome, sadly with that comes lots of irresponsible people. I see this happening way too often and today was no different, but this is the worse I have ever seen.
This is what was left from yesterdays event Floatopia where lots of people come to the beach and I’m really not sure what they do except pollute the beautiful beaches, waters, and destroy the very planet we all share. I can only imagine what is in that water. It’s upsetting to say the very least.
This is extremely sad, but we can all help make a change. Please help spread awareness and stop this all over the world not only here.
Thank you to all the volunteers out there at 5 am this morning, all the city workers putting in extra hours and hard work, all the photographers, videographers and journalists documenting this and spreading awareness through out. We need to make some serious changes…
This photos and videos tell the full story.
Here is the video of the actual event. Look a the amounts of people, imagine all the tarash inside the ocean.
