New York City is often called the capital of the world. My name is Carey St. Hilaire. I am a photographer born and raised in New York City. My entire life, I have heard countless times that New York City is the “city of dreams.” As a young boy, I really didn’t know what that meant but as I got older, it became clear. Even though NYC might be the most photographed place in the world, as a photographer and artist, this is my take, my story, my art of the city that I love and adore. I may travel to beautiful places around the world, but there is only one place I call home, and that is New York City. This is my story in the form of photographs.
