Morning visits from 9:30-11 a.m. when the east-facing garden is lit from behind you and the villa facade catches direct light. Weekday mornings in the off-season (May-November) have minimal crowds. 3251 S. Miami Avenue, Coconut Grove. Open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Tuesdays. Admission $22 for adults. Interior photography is allowed in open rooms without flash. Tripods require advance coordination with the estates office.
