While my family and I embarked on the famous PCH/Highway 1 roadtrip from LA to San Francisco, we stopped on our second day for a photo op along the coast, near San Simeon. I climbed down from the cliff we parked near to the seaweed covered beach and setup my tripod.

I waited for the exact minute where the sun was sitting on the edge of the horizon and began shooting long exposures.
